Mabel Annesley, 1881-1959, was an artist and wood engraver who lived on the Castlewellan estate in County Down. The blue plaque set into the forest park records her name and dates, marking the land where she worked and breathed. Ulster History Circle placed the plaque to keep her memory visible among the trees.
