Lyme Hall, located in Cheshire, is a medieval manor house dating back to the 14th century, originally built by the Fitton family, a prominent local landowning dynasty. It is important as one of the finest examples of a medieval hall house in the region and is now preserved as a heritage site managed by the National Trust.
