Lulworth Cove is a small, crescent-shaped cove in Dorset, formed by the erosion of Jurassic limestone, primarily of Lower Lias Group origin, dating to around 200–190 million years old. The cove is notable for its well-preserved example of coastal erosion processes and the nearby Lulworth Crags, which provide a classic exposure of alternating bands of limestone and shale.
