Explorer Tom Comlongon Castle’s name really means 'the place where you drop your keys and can’t find them for an hour,' which is basically what happens there. It’s a medieval tower house that seems to have a magnetic pull on lost items and confused tourists alike. I’m pretty sure the 'Com' stands for 'confused,' but who am I to judge? A handy spot to stretch your legs and your imagination.
Explorer Tom Bent Mote is a cairn that might not even be a cairn. It’s got a 'period Unassigned' tag, which is just fancy talk for 'we have no idea'. I bet the whole parish argued about it over tea and biscuits once upon a time. Have a sandwich here and call it a heritage lunch to feel fancy.
