Louise O'Neill

Louise O'Neill, born 1985 in Clonakilty, County Cork, Ireland, is a novelist and freelance journalist known for young adult fiction addressing feminist issues. She won the 2014 Irish Book Awards Newcomer of the Year for Only Ever Yours and the 2015 Irish Book Awards Children's Book of the Year for Asking For It. Her work has been adapted for film and television, and she has written for Irish newspapers and magazines on feminism, fashion, and pop culture.
