Longney Lass

Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Longney Lass as Wreck from the Modern period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
Longney Lass was a British coaster built in 1913 that was lost in 1940 during World War II after striking a mine off the coast of Wales. The wreck resulted in the loss of all 32 crew members and is now a protected war grave; its remains are also recognized as a significant maritime archaeological site in Welsh waters.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
