Loch Leòdamais is a coastal bay in Argyll and Bute, likely underlain by ancient Dalradian sedimentary rocks, part of the Scottish Highlands terrane, with geological origins dating back to the Neoproterozoic to early Paleozoic era (approximately 600–500 million years ago). These rocks were folded and metamorphosed during the Caledonian orogeny, and the area's coastal features were further shaped by glacial and marine erosion.
