Littledale Crags is a sea cliff or coastal rock feature composed primarily of Carboniferous limestone, formed around 340–320 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. It is notable for its exposure of ancient rock layers and its role in the rugged coastal landscape of Cumberland.
