Little Yarlside is a small upland feature in the Lakeland region, with an elevation of approximately 300–350 metres. It is part of the Yarlside group of fells, which are composed mainly of Carboniferous limestone and are known for their relatively low prominence and gentle slopes. The area is valued for its scenic character and contributes to the broader cultural and recreational landscape of the Lake District.
