What is recorded here

Lisphubble is a worn earthen ring on a Galway slope, its northern edge lost to quarrying while the eastern gap still invites entry. The stones taken from it may have built homes for people who never knew the fort existed. What remains is a broken circle overlooking marsh water, holding the shape of a place that resisted erasure long after human hands stopped maintaining it.

On a S-facing slope in grassland overlooking marshy land. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (48m N-S; 42m E-W) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. No visible surface trace of the enclosing elements survives at N due to quarrying. There is a causewayed entrance gap (Wth 7.5m) at E.
