On a gentle E-facing slope in grassland. Circular rath (D 35m), in fair condition, defined by a bank and external fosse; the latter survives at N and SW. Lisphilip, Weston is a circular ringfort, likely dating to the early medieval period, characterized by a bank and partial external fosse. Local tradition associates such sites with fairy lore, and this fort may have been considered a threshold between the mortal and supernatural worlds.
