Lisparkabranna is a broken earthen ring in West Cork pasture, preserving a twenty-metre arc and shallow fossa on a north-west facing slope. It is a fairy fort in local story, but the shape is human: a boundary made by repeated labour, perhaps marking a home, a boundary or a place of exclusion. The fence now cuts through what was once a complete circle. That interruption does not diminish the site; it reveals how much of the world has been rearranged around older decisions.
