Lisnaturnoga, also called Lisheenakilla, stands in Pollnamal, County Galway, as a children's burial ground, yet no visible trace of the ringfort or associated earthwork survives. The name itself preserves what the land forgot: "lis" marks a circular enclosure, likely a farmstead or sacred boundary, now erased beneath fields and time. What remains is a quiet gap where memory should be, flagged only in the Archaeological Inventory of County Galway. The place becomes a measure of human absence, a child's grave hidden under ordinary soil, waiting for someone to listen through the silence.
