Located towards the N end of a NNE-SSW ridge, it is described as ‘Lisnamuck’ – the Pig’s Lios – on the OS 6-inch maps. This is a circular overgrown area (diam. 41m NW-SE; 38m NE-SW) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth of base 5-5.2m; int. H 0.6-0.9m; ext. H 1.6-2m) with traces of inner and outer facing stones, and a slight outer fosse (Wth of base 2.2m; ext. D 0.2m) ESE-SW. There is a wide entrance (Wth of base 3.7m) at E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987).
