Lisnagilky is a fairy fort in County Cork, Ireland. The earthen ring stands beside the River Lyre, marked by a causewayed entrance and a shallow outer ditch. Local tradition names it Lios na Giolcaighe, the fort of the Broom, suggesting the place belongs to imagination as much as history.

In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope, with land falling more steeply beyond site to bank of River Lyre c. 250m away. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.4m); external fosse (D 0.4m). Bank heavily overgrown; causewayed entrance (Wth 4m) to SSE. Fosse infilled on N side due to existence of modern farmyard; wall separates bank from yard. Interior used as dumping ground for field clearance material. No visible surface trace of outer bank depicted on 1904 and 1936 OS 6-inch maps and described by Bowman (1934, 605) as c. 8ft H. Lisnagilky, Dromore South is a circular earthen ringfort, likely dating to the early medieval period, characterized by an internal bank and external fosse. Local tradition associates such sites with fairy dwellings, and they were often avoided due to beliefs in supernatural inhabitants.
