Lismweel, Cloran is a circular cashel, a type of early-medieval ringfort, likely dating to between the 5th and 10th centuries AD. Though its folklore is not specifically recorded, like many such sites in Ireland, it may have later been associated with local fairy tradition or other supernatural beliefs.
