Lismadine is a fairy fort in County Clare, an earthen ring where the boundary between human law and old belief still bends. Its ridges mark a place set apart, perhaps for ritual, perhaps for warning, where the land itself remembers being shaped. To walk its edge is to accept that some rooms were never built for people.
