Lisín na bPáistí, meaning children's burial ground, still holds small set stones in the south-east corner of a Galway ringfort. The name suggests infants were laid to rest there, though no marker or story survives to confirm the claim. What is certain is that the stones remain, quietly arranged within the ancient earthwork, waiting for someone to ask whose children they were.
