Shown as large rectangular enclosure on OS 6-inch map (1842). NW bank possibly survives incorporated into field fence (H 2m). Elsewhere only faint traces of bank can be detected. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
