What is recorded here

Lisduff is a ruined circular cashel in County Galway, its stone wall now buried under pasture and forgetting. The field wall cuts through the ring like a knife through a mouth, suggesting the land itself refused to keep the shape. What was built there has been half-erased, leaving only a round shadow in the grass and a name that still points to the gap.
