Lios / Fairyfort

Fairyfort is a broken ring of earth in County Cork, the kind of place children point at and adults pretend not to see. It has no gate, no roof, no explanation, only a shallow circle where grass grows thicker and rain collects like a bowl. Perhaps people danced there before written history, or perhaps the earth simply folded itself into a shape the land still remembers.
