What is recorded here

Situated in a low lying marshy area 11m SSW of nearby ringfort (LA027-028001-) and stream to the S. Linear feature visible on aerial photograph (GSI, S 40-1). A flat-topped bank (Wth c. 5m) curving gently from SSW-NNE (C c. 52.3m) is visible on the ground. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
