What is recorded here
Situated immediately E of a garden wall of recent construction, W of a road, opposite a post office and petrol station. A sub-rectangular limestone slab (H 0.51m; Wth. 0.58m; Th. 0.13m), smooth on its E face and otherwise rough-cut. It bears a faded inscription recording that this stone marked the boundary of the Liberties of the City of Limerick, and the date 1786.
