What is recorded here

According to Smith (1750, vol. 1, 381) 'a considerable part of the lands of this parish', whose church St. Brendan (CO074-058---) stood - on N side of River Lee and on one side of Youghal road -, 'were formerly appropriated to the maintenance of a leper-house'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
