What is recorded here

Situated on a SW-facing slope of rising ground in a mountainous region. The area where the site is marked on the OS 6-inch map appears to have undergone recent land improvement which may have resulted in the site's destruction. There are no visible remains. A portal dolmen dating to the Neolithic period; its significance is likely regional, representing early megalithic funerary practices, though the site may have been damaged by land improvement works.
