Ladyland Castle

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Ladyland Castle as Castle (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Ladyland Castle was built in the 13th century by the de Moravia family, who were prominent in the region during the medieval period. It is remembered for its strategic position in the Scottish Borders and its role in the turbulent history of border conflicts between Scotland and England.
