Lackafinna Castle (in ruins)

Castle, tower house

What is recorded here

Lackafinna Castle stands as a ruined tower house in County Galway, its stones stripped of roof and purpose. The structure still marks the south landscape, though human hands have abandoned it to rain and time. Whatever family or claim once filled its chambers has faded from memory, leaving only the shape of a defensible home behind.
