Knockaunnabasty Infants Burial Ground marks a lost children's cemetery on the eastern slope of a Galway hillock, its small upright stones still aligned in rows beneath thick vegetation. The grave markers face east and west across a narrow oval space, suggesting orderly care rather than abandoned chaos. Lough Mask gleams beyond the ridge, witnessing the quiet persistence of a place where young lives were laid to rest and remembered through stone alone.

On E slope of a hillock overlooking Lough Mask to N. This CBG, correctly Cnocán na bPáistí, consists of a subcircular area (E-W c. 15m, N-S c. 12m), much overgrown, but possibly once defined by a stone revetment, traces of which are visible at NE. Within this are numerous small uprights arranged in rows, indicating graves oriented E-W.
