Knock Castle, Home Farm stands in North Ayrshire as an unassigned farmstead, stripping the grand title back to soil, stone and daily labour. The name suggests a castle once, but the surviving identity is domestic: a place where people lived, ate and tended what the land gave. That shift from fortress to farm is not a loss, it is a transformation. Strength stopped performing for distance and began serving life at hand.
