Kinneigh Well is a holy well hidden just north of the round tower, lost to sight but remembered in ritual. It is the kind of place where water disappears under stone and reappears in dreams, marking the boundary between human life and older forces. People may have drunk from it, washed wounds or left offerings before the tower rose above the field. The well does not need a visible basin to remain real, because memory and reverence can hold what earth has swallowed.

Linked to Saint Gobnait, the well is traditionally associated with cures for eye ailments and was a site of pilgrimage. The saint is known in folklore for her healing powers and her connection to bees, symbolizing industry and protection.
