Kingston Hill

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Kingston Hill as Cross Incised Stone (early Medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Kingston Hill is associated with St Kentigern (also known as St Mungo), the patron saint of Glasgow, and is believed to have been a site of early Christian worship. Local tradition holds that the incised cross on the stone may mark a pre-Norman Viking or early medieval Christian ritual or burial site.
