Kilsurd Tower

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Kilsurd Tower as Tower House (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Kilsurd Tower is a medieval tower house located in the Scottish Borders, likely built in the 15th or 16th century by a local landholding family, possibly of the Scotts or another prominent Border clan. It is remembered as an example of the defensive architecture common in the region during the turbulent period of Anglo-Scottish conflicts.
