On a steep slope at the N side of a road c. 1.5km W of Kilgarvan. One-storey former school house. Front (SE) of three bays; central, gabled, porch projection with doorway at side approached by stone steps. Rectangular window opes with modern frames. Gable-ended with chimney on each gable. Inscribed plaque on gable of porch now illegible. Known locally as "the old Protestant school". Named 'School Ho.' on the 1846 OS 6-inch map.
