What is recorded here
Archaeological monitoring (01E0910) uncovered a feature c. 80m N of the church (WA032-012001-) (Richardson 2004) which on excavation (02E1240) proved to be a channel (dims. 2m E-W; 0.8m N-S; max. D 0.35m) containing soils with burnt clay and fragments of charcoal that is probably a kiln (Power et al. 2002, 406; Noonan 2004).
