Excavations in 2006 (06E0176) uncovered a kiln in association with a double-ditched enclosure (DU021-106----).This was identified in the SW of the site. It was figure of eight shaped and filled with layers of charcoal rich silt and scorching. A small pit or post hole was located at the base of the bowl just below the neck (Mc Carthy, c. 2009, 123).
