Kiln

Figure-of-eight shaped feature (L 1.6m; Wth 0.9m) discovered during the development of playing pitches at Dundalk Institute of Technology (Excavation Licence No. 02E0008). Possibly the base of a corn-drying kiln tentatively dated to the late Iron Age. Covered and preserved in situ.
