Located on the N-facing slope of a broad hill. A stone-lined and fire-cracked pit (diam. at top c. 1.6m; dims. at base c. 0.75m x c. 0.45m; D c. 1.5m) with a stone-lined passage (L c. 2.75m) was discovered in 1909 at Glenavaddra (Ussher 1909).
