What is recorded here
Kilmoria Burial Ground occupied a twenty-five-metre square on the northwest corner of a Limerick pasture, watching three horizons before vanishing from later maps. It may have marked deaths the field swallowed, yet no stone or ditch remains to prove the shape of its grief.
Situated in the NW corner of a pasture field, on an elevated area overlooking a W-facing slope with good views to S, W and E. Indicated as a roughly square area (L c. 25m) on the 1840 OS 6-inch map and named 'Kilmoria Burial Ground' but not marked on the 1927 OS 6-inch map. There was no apparent evidence for the monument when the site was inspected.
