Triangular stone block cutwaters with rendered coping to west elevation. Rubble stone spandrels with splayed abutment walls to north. Rubble stone parapet walls with rubble stone coping.

A handsome road bridge that exhibits fine craftsmanship in its construction. The finely dressed stone block voussoirs contrast against the rubble stone spandrels adding a pleasing textural variation. It is thought that the bridge was part of a private road that led around Kilmoney Abbey, known as Captain Robert's Bóthareen.
