Detached two-bay single-storey gate lodge, extant 1841, on a rectangular plan. Occupied, 1901; 1911. Renovated, ----. Hipped slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles centred on rendered chimney stack having stepped capping, and cast-iron rainwater goods on timber eaves boards on rendered eaves. Replacement rendered walls. Square-headed door opening in elliptical-headed recess (south) with concealed dressings framing replacement glazed uPVC panelled door. Square-headed window opening in elliptical-headed recess (north) with concealed dressings framing replacement uPVC casement window. Square-headed window openings in segmental-headed recesses (side elevations) with concealed dressings framing replacement uPVC casement windows. Set back from line of road at entrance to grounds of Killoteran House.
A gate lodge contributing positively to the group and setting values of the Killoteran House estate. NOTE: Occupied (1901) by Patrick Flynn (----), 'Caretaker' (NA 1901); and (1911) by Roderick Kennedy (----), 'Groom' (NA 1911).
