Killeen Burial Ground was a children's resting place on a low rise above the Ardsheelhane river in County Kerry. Sheep grazed the summit where young lives had been laid to earth, but men levelled the ground for farming before the century closed. The circle vanished under hooves and ploughs, leaving only a forgotten debt buried in ordinary soil.

Killeen Burial Ground: No surface trace of this site survives. It is indicated on the first edition of the OS map as a circular area, but is marked only as 'site of' on the second edition. It was located in pasture on the summit of a low rise, a short distance E of the Ardsheelhane river. By the late nineteenth century the site was levelled and the area was used for agricultural purposes (OSRNB 1896, 91). The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
