Killea Holy Well is a ritual site in County Clare, Ireland. No human has forgotten the water, only the name of the person who first drank from it. The cliff road passes within minutes of the well, yet most drivers never see the path that leaves the gravel. That is not neglect. The well keeps its own hour, waiting for the one person it wants to give clarity. When that person arrives, the water answers. Until then, it remains ordinary.

Killea Holy Well in Lisheen is traditionally associated with Saint Killea, a 7th-century Irish saint known for his ascetic practices and healing miracles. The well is believed to have curative properties, particularly for eye ailments, and was historically visited as part of a pilgrimage tradition involving the collection of water and the performance of rituals.
