Killastueran Fort & Grave Yard holds a raised oval chamber thirty metres wide, enclosed by a ancient bank of earth and stone. Tradition claims the soil beneath contains a children's burial ground, transforming a ordinary field marker into a place of quiet grief. The fort may have served a local church, suggesting worship and mourning shared the same ground.

Davies (1948,116) suggested that the rath (CV023-030001-) at this location contained a church site. Raised oval area (int. dims. c. 32m NNW-SSE; 30m WSW-ENE) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone. Traditionally believed to be the site of a children's burial ground (CV023-030003-).
