Kilcronan is a children's burial ground on a southeast-facing slope above Lough Corrib, marked by small stones set across a narrow rectangle. The taller markers cluster in the northeast corner, suggesting some families returned again and again to lay out little bodies beneath the open sky.

On SE-facing slope, overlooking Lough Corrib. This CBG consists of a subrectangular area (E-W 20m, N-W 16.7m) enclosed by a scarp. Within the interior, numerous small set stones indicate graves oriented E-W; there is a particular concentration of taller grave-markers in NE corner.
