Kilcoulaghta Burial Ground stopped receiving the dead before 1904, yet it remains inside a possible ringfort in County Cork. Hartnett saw unmarked stone stumps and grave outlines in 1939, but those shapes have vanished entirely. The field keeps its own counsel, hiding the exact number of people it swallowed while waiting for someone brave enough to listen.

Marked 'Kilcoulaghta Grave Yd.' on 1842 OS 6-inch map; 'disused' on 1904 OS 6-inch map. Within possible ringfort (CO071-113002-). No surface trace of burials or gravemarkers. Hartnett (1939, 144) noted '....outline of graves and stumps of stones (unmarked)'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
