What is recorded here
Kilclispeen Graveyard in Ahenny, County Tipperary, keeps its dead inside a rough square stone wall while the church that serves them stands twenty metres outside it. The first survey around 1840 showed no wall at all, but the second edition in 1906 captured the finished boundary, proving that someone built the enclosure between those dates yet still excluded the church. That refusal to draw both into one place turns a ordinary burial slope into a small puzzle, as if the living and the dead were meant to remain neighbours rather than roommates.
Kilclispeen Graveyard is a cemetery in County Tipperary, Ireland.
