Kassam Ismail Majothi, a Ugandan Asian refugee who fled Idi Amin's regime, settled in Easton, Bristol, and in 1978 established the family-owned Bristol Sweet Mart, which became a well-known local business. His story reflects the contributions of South Asian refugees to the cultural and economic fabric of post-war Bristol.
