What is recorded here
Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Karemma as Motor Fishing Vessel (period Unassigned)-(1976). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
Karemma was a motor fishing vessel built in 1976, registered in Scotland. It was lost at sea in 1976 during a storm off the coast of Aberdeenshire, resulting in the deaths of all six crew members; the vessel was carrying a cargo of herring, which was also lost.
The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
