Walled garden, built 1844; extant 1852, on a rectangular plan with part creeper- or ivy-covered coursed rubble stone boundary wall to perimeter having rendered rounded slate flagged coping; red brick English Garden Wall bond surface finish to courtyard elevations. Now disused. Set in landscaped grounds shared with Johnstown Castle.
A walled garden contributing positively to the group and setting values of the Johnstown Castle estate.
