This blue commemorative plaque records: Built c.1865 this was the family home of the master-builder John Thompson Jnr. Thompson & Sons undertook cathedral restoration schemes nationwide and realised the designs of many leading Victorian architects. Recorded plaque organisation: Peterborough Civic Society.
